Christa Schweng has been President of the EESC since October 2020
She has been an EESC member since 1998 in representation of the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber (WKÖ). Between 2018 and 2020, she was President of the EESC’s Section for Employment, Social Affairs and Citizenship (SOC). From 2013 to 2015, she chaired the work of the Labour Market Observatory (LMO).
