Professor Richard Wilding OBE is recognised globally for his thought leadership in Logistics and Supply Chain Management
Appointed in 2005 as the first Full Professor and Chair of “Supply Chain Risk Management” in the world in recognition of his significant contribution to the subject area, he was further awarded an OBE for services to business in 2013 and a National Teaching Fellowship in 2019, in recognition of his outstanding impact on student outcomes and teaching within UK higher education.
In 2020, Richard was named one of the top 10 supply chain influencers on LinkedIn as well as a top 10 ‘Global Game Changer’ for his support of the procurement profession during the COVID-19 supply chain crisis.
