Current Functionality
Accessing Framespan
Framespan is a web-based platform that requires no installation or training to operate. Simply open your preferred web browser and enter the Framespan web address. Once you’ve accessed Framespan, you’ll be presented with a list of frameworks to easily browse.
Searching frameworks
You can enter a keyword or framework reference to search for specific frameworks. Additionally, you can filter the search results by provider, date range or award type. To exclude expired frameworks from your search, simply tick the “Exclude Expired Frameworks” checkbox.
Viewing framework details
Once you’ve found a framework you’re interested in, the detail page will allow you to filter the suppliers by Lot. If you want more detail, you can quickly jump to the provider’s web page to find out more and talk to them directly… they are the experts!
Bookmarking frameworks
If you’d like to save a framework for future reference, you can bookmark it by clicking the star against the framework. Your bookmarked frameworks can then be accessed at any time.

Framespan is going to product level
To ensure that buyers find the right framework for the right product, Framespan will be enabling suppliers to upload product files. Buyers can search by GTIN, product code or descriptions to find exactly what they are looking for.
Suppliers can add products one by one, upload spreadsheets or if you have already listed your products on GS1’s GDSN database, simply draw them down into Framespan.
