    Director
    Sian Computers

Born in England in the 60s to parents from the Windrush Generation, my meaningful life journey began after school, unsure of my future. Seeking travel, I enlisted in the British Army, significantly altering my path.

I’m Robert Allen, Director of Sian Computers & Sian Computers CIC in Bushbury, Wolverhampton. Founded 10 years ago, Sian Computers serves the local community with programs such as Technology Resilience, IT Practical & Business Administration, and a Pre-Apprenticeship Programme.

SIAN Computers supports the Home Office’s Windrush Compensation Scheme and hosts Windrush Community Engagement events. We also work with the NHS on the Black Country Connected Programme and Wolverhampton City Council’s 50+ Digital Training Programme.

After 23 years in Wolverhampton City Council’s Environmental Health department, I now manage Sian Computers. We sell and repair digital equipment, including laptops, mobile phones, tablets, gaming consoles, and accessories. Our printing service offers high-quality document and photo printing, meeting essential community needs. Our team provides tech support and consultations to help clients choose suitable IT products.

Managing Sian Computers CIC, a Community Interest Company, is fulfilling, especially in supporting vulnerable groups and unemployed youth from deprived areas. I received recognition from former Prime Minister Rishi Sunak for our exceptional work with the Windrush Generation and Commonwealth countries.

Despite my achievements, it saddens me to see the continued abuse of the Windrush Generation’s rights. As a proud veteran, I dedicate much of my time to serving communities, churches, and various organizations as a role model.
