Sonia is the Co-founder and CTO of Digit Soil, a start-up based in the Zürich area, Switzerland. Since 2021, she has focused on developing practical solutions for monitoring soil biological activity, making advanced tools accessible to those in agriculture and environmental management.
With a background in biotechnology from Jagiellonian University in Krakow, Poland, and soil science from ETH Zürich, Sonia combines scientific knowledge with a practical approach. At Digit Soil, she works to make soil assessment and monitoring more accessible through sensors and informatics tools, supporting sustainable agriculture and environmental stewardship. Her goal is to provide practitioners with reliable, user-friendly tools that help make informed decisions for a healthier planet.
