Ana Drăguțescu is an urban and transport planner and has been working for ICLEI since September 2016. With more than 11 years of progressive experience in the sustainable urban mobility field and an extensive educational background in urban planning, urban design, and transport planning, she has been supporting cities’ mobility planning processes. She is also a Sustainable Urban Mobility Planning expert, city staff trainer and moderator for the SUMP process development and implementation. Ana leads the role ICLEI plays in the mobility sector as the Head of Sustainable Mobility Team. Her daily tasks foresee expectation management, work- and capacity planning, communication with partners and funders, oversight of preparation and implementation of products and deliverables, advocacy, dissemination, and reporting.
With extensive experience in technical implementation and financial mechanisms of European Commission-funded projects, Ana possesses the knowledge to implement participatory methods and different tools for co-production and implementation of local policies, to assess current mobility situations, to elaborate technical comments and recommendations as a response to the cities’ needs and requirements and finally also to moderate technical training with municipal representatives.
