Faryal Minhas is Human Appeal’s Country Director in Iraq. She has previously served as their Country Director in Pakistan, and Orphans & Child Welfare Manager
Faryal escaped Yemen with her four children as war broke out, after surviving a decade of domestic abuse. She has first-hand experience of how conflict can affect families and children’s upbringing. At Human Appeal, she has developed child protection and orphan sponsorship policies that have been applied across all of the organisation’s worldwide activities.
