Sue Houston is Group Chief Nursing Officer at Christchurch Group (a division of Active Care Group) – the leading provider of award-winning clinically-led neurorehabilitation services for post-COVID patients, patients with acquired brain injury (ABI), spinal injury and other neurological conditions. Sue is a highly qualified complex care nurse specialising in neurorehabilitation and has 44 years experience working as a Senior Clinical Manager across both the NHS and Independent healthcare sector.
Prior to joining Christchurch Group Sue held the position of Clinical Lead and Manager for Commissioning, and managed strategically the Continuing Health Care Team for NHS Continuing Care and NHS Funded Nursing Care.
As Chief Nursing Officer for the Group, Sue’s role is multifunctional. This year Sue has taken the lead role in the creation and implementation of COVID bundles and patient pathways across all services.
