The Crown Commercial Service (CCS) released its February 2025 agreement updates, revealing a new Back Office Software framework. Extensions to print and audio-visual services were confirmed, while upcoming expirations in health and software require attention
This update, designed to aid public sector procurement planning, highlights new awards, extensions, and upcoming expirations.
New back office software framework launched
In February, the CCS awarded the RM6285 Back Office Software 2 framework. This new agreement will provide public sector organisations with access to various software solutions to support their back-office operations. The framework is expected to help procurement processes and offer cost-effective solutions for essential software needs.
Print management and audio visual services extended
The CCS has extended two important agreements in February, ensuring continued service provision for public sector clients.
- RM6170 Print Management Services: This extension will allow public sector bodies to continue accessing comprehensive print management solutions, optimising their printing processes and potentially reducing costs.
- RM6225 Audio Visual Technical Consultancy and Commissioning: The extension of this agreement means that organisations can still utilise expert consultancy and commissioning services for their audio-visual technology projects.
No agreements expired in February
There were no CCS framework agreements that expired during the month of February. This provides stability for organisations currently utilising existing agreements.
Upcoming expirations: Focus on health and software
Looking ahead, the CCS has highlighted several agreements expiring in the next three months. Organisations are advised to review their procurement plans in light of these upcoming changes:
- RM6182 Occupational Health, Employee Assistance Programmes and Eye Care Services
- RM6194 Back Office Software
- RM6333 International Healthcare Professional Recruitment and Associated Services
- RM6141 Language Services
