Dave has worked within the Information Governance Team in Cardiff since 2008. In 2013 Dave was appointed to the role of Information Governance Manager as part of the Council’s revitalised approach to Information Governance
Dave has significant experience of promoting the principles of the Data Protection Act, developing and delivering Information Governance training programmes and delivering the Council’s Information Request, Records and Digitisation Services and Information Governance services to Schools in Cardiff.
Dave is currently contracted as the Data Protection Officer to the Welsh Local Government Association (WLGA) and Data Cymru.
Dave currently chairs the WASPI South Group and is a Member of the WASPI Management Board, helping to facilitate working with colleagues across Wales on a variety of projects aimed at sharing information and collaboration.
