David has conducted a 30-year research and development programme that led to the development of Business Value Maximisation Framework (BVMF®) which is uniquely positioned to help business organisations gain significantly even dramatically higher levels of success, value and ROI from their IT and digital transformation. As the UK’s leading Business Value Maximisation Specialist (BVMS), David founded Do IT Better Consortium (DIBC) in 2014, a cooperative of consultants who believe success, value and ROI can and should be higher than recent industry norms. DIBC member consultants are trained in BVMF® so they are able to utilise whatever blend of traditional and progressive methods client organisations would most benefit from.
David writes and presents on how to get more business gain and success from the pain and cost of IT. In 2023 Brainz Magazine have been publishing a series of David’s articles. The International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA) UK has been running sessions led by David since 2020 – the next deeper dive into IT Business Value Maximisation will be on August 29th 2023. David recently led a live business value maximisation clinic at GovNet’s Digital Government 2023 conference and is due to repeat this at GovNet’s Digital Government Expo 2024 at the Excel Centre when he will present the key principles of BVMF®.
