Dr. Benjamin King Sutton Woods is a Senior Lecturer in Aerospace Structures at the University of Bristol
He has expertise in morphing and lightweight aerostructures. He is principal investigator of the Horizon 2020 funded Shape Adaptive Blades for Rotorcraft Efficiency (SABRE) research program and holds an EPSRC Early Career Fellowship. He earned his PhD from the University of Maryland before moving to the UK in 2012.
He has authored 7 US Patents, 35 journal papers, 60 conference papers, and two book chapters.
