Gerry is a technology entrepreneur who loves turning high tech concepts into products. He is a professor in Computer Science at Trinity College Dublin, Ireland and his main area of research is human-machine systems. In 2000 he co-founded an augmented reality surgical simulation company, Haptica, which sold to CAE medical in 2011.
He co-founded SureWash, a hand hygiene training company in 2011, and has since played many roles before becoming CTO in 2015. SureWash combines artificial intelligence and augmented reality to deliver the best in class training to the World Health Organization (WHO) protocol.
