Dr. Karen Cook (RN, BSN, PhD) was an Associate Professor (retired) in the Faculty of Health Disciplines at Athabasca University when this research was conducted. Her research interests include the health and wellness of youth and the transition of youth with complex health conditions from pediatric to adult health services.
