Dr Malcolm Doupe is an Associate Professor in the Department of Community Health Sciences, University of Manitoba (UM), Director of the Manitoba Training Programme for Health Services, and a Senior Research Scientist with the Manitoba Centre for Health Policy
He received a doctorate from the Department of Community Health Sciences from the UM in 2004 and has fulfilled various roles at UM including Research Affiliate in the Centre on Ageing (since 2005), Associate Professor in Emergency Medicine (since 2013), and Adjunct Professor in the Departments of Psychology (2013-2018). Dr Doupe was awarded in 2019 the Canadian Over 50s Housing Research Award for Conducting Outstanding Community Health Sciences Research. In 2012–13 he received the CIHR-IHSPR Article of the Year Award, recognising his published research for significantly contributing to the advancement of the field of health services and policy research in Canada.
