Academician, business leader, author, poet and engineer Dr Gupta is a multi-dimensional personality
After studying English Literature, Anthropology and Political Science at Lucknow University in India, Dr Gupta pursued Chemical Engineering with a specialisation in aromatic chemicals and perfumery flavours from the Institute of Roure Bertrand Dupont in France. He researched cosmetic industries in France before his MBA & PhD in Business Administration Information Technology from AIUMT, U.S.
After taking over the reins of Oxford Business College in 2007, Dr Gupta evolved it as one of the most sought-after places of learning in the independent higher education sector within a short time. Since then, responsible for the unprecedented growth of the College, as Managing Director, he looks after the overall administration and compliances.
Dr Gupta has been sharing his knowledge and experience as visiting lecturer on literature and culture-related subjects at various Universities, including Moscow, Budapest, Wroclaw, Bucharest, Mauritius, Suriname, Trinidad, and many Universities in India.
Active in literary and cultural circles internationally, Dr Gupta has been the convenor and organiser of numerous international seminars and conferences in the UK and abroad. He has been honoured with several international awards for his contribution to literature, including the highest official recognition by the President of India. He has been editing two literary magazines and has four published collections of poetry.
