Stephan Ludwig is a Full Professor and Director of the Institute of Virology Muenster (IVM), Germany
His research is focussed on the interaction of respiratory viruses with the host and the immune system aiming to better understand the mechanisms of viral replication. The three authors are founders of Atriva Therapeutics GmbH, Germany, a company that aims to translate the academic findings of the founders into commercial products in the field of innovative antiviral drug development.
