Dr Stephen Davies is a Principal Research Scientist in the Soil Science and Crop Nutrition Portfolio at Western Australia’s Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development.
Dr Davies has more than 24 years of experience undertaking research in agricultural plant physiology and soil management at the University of Western Australia (PhD studies), CSIRO Plant Industry in Canberra and DPIRD, based in WA’s Midwest, Geraldton.
He has expertise in managing soil constraints in cropping systems with a focus on developing practical tools and options for grain growers.
