Dr William Dawson is the Chief Executive Officer of OneMedical Group, a national health and wellbeing company, delivering NHS services, system leadership and consultancy across the UK
A GP by background, Will joined OneMedical Group in 2014. In Lead GP for Primary Care Services in 2016 and became Chief Medical Officer in 2017. In the summer of 2019, he stepped into the role of Deputy CEO before taking on the role of Chief Executive Officer in April 2020.
Qualifying from the University of Leeds School of Medicine in 2007, Will continued his post graduate training in general practice across the county. In 2017, he participated in the Health Foundation’s Generation Q fellowship, a quality improvement and leadership programme designed for senior leaders from healthcare, policy and the charity sector, studying at Ashridge Executive Education, part of Hult International Business School.
Will believes in compassionate inclusive leadership and is always looking to learn and to listen to others.
Will is passionate about creating better health and wellbeing for everyone, ending health inequality, along with leading improvement and innovation throughout the healthcare industry.
