Fujio Toriumi is a Professor of the Graduate School of Engineering, The University of Tokyo. He received his Ph.D degree from Tokyo Institute of Technology, Japan in 2004. His research interests are Computational Social Science and AI technologies for Society.
He is a board member of the Japan Institute of Law and Information Systems. He is a member of the Institute of Electronics, Information and Communication Engineers of Japan, AAAI, The Japanese Society for Artificial Intelligence, Information Processing Society of Japan and The Society of Socio-Informatics.
