    George Papadimitriou is a researcher at the Department of Informatics & Telecommunications of the University of Athens, where he completed his Ph.D. in Computer Architecture in 2019. His research focuses on dependable and energy-efficient computer architectures, with emphasis on reliability of computing systems, functional correctness of hardware designs, and design validation for microprocessor-based systems. His expertise spans multiple fields, such as cloud and edge computing, neuromorphic system modeling, and exploring RAS (Reliability, Availability, Serviceability) aspects across CPUs, GPUs and AI accelerators. In these research areas, Papadimitriou has authored and published more than 60 papers in international conferences and journals. His work has earned him six HiPEAC paper awards for his publications in top-tier conferences, including IEEE/ACM MICRO, IEEE HPCA, and ACM/IEEE ISCA. In 2022, he received the IEEE Transactions on Computers Best Paper Award for his outstanding journal contribution, and in 2023, he was honored with the TTTC/ITC Gerald W. Gordon Student Award.
