    Jacques-Eric Bergez INRAE, HSO, ASR. Systemic agronomist and modeller.

    Main research topic on the description and modelling of farmers’ practices in order to develop innovative crop management systems. Development of methodologies from surveys to participatory codesign workshops; from mono to multicriteria assessment. Former head of the multidisciplinary research unit AGIR (AGroecology, Innovations & teRritories, www6.toulouse.inrae.fr/agir) focused on the agroecological transition of the agricultural sector. Former scientific leader of the RECORD users’ network, RECORD being a modelling and simulation platform to develop and work with agroecosystem models (www6.inrae.fr/record).

    Coordinator of the H2020 project ClieNFarms on climate neutral farming (clienfarms.eu/). Cocoordinator of Occitanum, open lab to help farmers’ agroecological transition thanks to ICT and digital technologies (www.occitanum.fr). Author of more than eighty research papers (HALid: jacques-eric-bergez). Managed ten PhD thesis and trained several students.
