Jie Gu (Senior Member, IEEE) received the B.S. degree from Tsinghua University, China, the M.S. degree from Texas A&M University and the Ph.D. degree from the University of Minnesota
He worked as an R&D design engineer in Texas Instruments and Maxlinear, Inc. on low power System-on-Chips for mobile electronics. He joined Northwestern University since 2015 and he is currently an associate professor. He is an associate editor of IEEE Journal of Solid-State Circuits and IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems II. He has served as technical program committees and conference co-chairs for circuit conferences such as ISSCC, CICC, ISPLED, DAC, ICCAD, ICCD, ISQED, etc. His research interests include novel circuits and architectures for domain specific accelerators, intelligent human machine interface and biomedical devices. He is a recipient of NSF CAREER award.
