Jonathan Dyson is an Associate Principal in CRA’s Energy Practice. He specializes in providing management consulting and strategic advisory services to corporates and investors
He has a background in digital strategy and upstream oil and gas operations. Since joining CRA, Mr. Dyson has supported private equity investors through both the acquisition and portfolio integration processes and has supported business development initiatives for investors and clients interested in Hydrogen.
Prior to joining CRA, he led the development of a new practice at a digital consulting firm in London, focusing on remote commerce services and business operations for clients in the retail, consumer goods, manufacturing, and energy sectors. He was also previously a senior wireline field engineer with an oilfield services company, where he led well data-logging operations in remote locations around the world.
During this time, he managed the setup of a new remote operation in Tanzania and conducted field research to improve the success of sidewall-coring operations. Whilst studying for his MBA, Mr. Dyson conducted a research project for an energy services company on the drivers of cost and productivity in US shale exploration, informing the board’s five-year strategic agenda.
Mr. Dyson holds an MBA from London Business School and an MEng from the University of Durham.
