Dr. Morrissette graduated from West Virginia University School of Medicine in 1991 and is currently the Medical Director at the Center for Asbestos Related Disease (CARD) in Libby, Montana
She is specialized in Public Health and General Preventive Medicine and Aerospace Medicine. She spent 21 years in the military as a flight surgeon and aerospace medicine/ preventative medicine specialist. During those years, Dr. Morrissette spent much of her time deployed with aviation squadrons to South America, the Pacific, Europe, and the Middle East.
She retired from the Air Force in 2009 as a Colonel, and has since practiced medicine throughout the United States as well as in New Zealand. She made the move to Libby, Montana, in 2019 to join the CARD team. She loves to travel and has visited 113 countries and territories. She also enjoys writing stories, cooking, hiking, photography, and spending time with her dog Dilly.
