Matteo Barbarino is a Nuclear Plasma Fusion Specialist at the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA)
He works at the Division of Physical and Chemical Sciences, Department of Nuclear Sciences and Applications, where he organizes and implements IAEA’s activities on fusion energy research and development.
He graduated at Texas A&M University and received his PhD degree in Physics in 2015.
His work focuses on promoting and supporting existing and novel applications of plasma physics and plasma fusion technology, enhancing international cooperation among small laboratories and main facilities working on fusion and plasma physics.
