Miguel Sanchis Sebastiá studied chemical engineering in Spain, after which he did his PhD studies at Lund University at the Department of Chemical Engineering.
He investigated the role of biorefineries in the valorization of waste, in particular agricultural and textile waste. His research on textile recycling laid the foundation for ShareTex and he has been leading the company from an early stage.
As the only member of the executive management, he has varied responsibilities within research, commercial activities, IP, strategy, communications, etc. Miguel is a recognized entrepreneur and expert in the field of sustainable fashion.
