Mio Tsubakimoto is a project associate professor of the Division of First-Year Education, Komaba Organization for Educational Excellence (KOMEX) at the University of Tokyo, Japan
She received her Ph.D. degree from the Tokyo Institute of Technology in 2008. Her main academic interests are assessment methods in first-year education through academic experiences and training methods for teaching assistants.
Recently, she reported the educational effects on TAs comparing pre- and post-training in “Mediation Effect of the Improvement in Teaching Assistant Quality in Students’ Evaluations of Their First-Year In the “Mediation Effect of the Improvement in Teaching Assistant Quality in Students’ Evaluations of Their First-Year Experience” in DSIR2020 proceedings. She plans to continue to examine the evaluation of the quality of learning support from the perspective of Learning Analytics.
