Neophytos Neophytou is a Professor at the School of Engineering, University of Warwick in the UK
He received his PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Purdue University, West Lafayette, IN, USA in 2008. He worked as a Post-Doctoral Researcher at the Institute of Microelectronics at the Technical University of Vienna in Austria until 2013.
His area of specialisation is theory, computational modelling and simulation of electronic and thermal transport in nanomaterials and devices. His current research interests include thermoelectric transport in nanostructured and complex bandstructure materials for energy conversion and generation applications.
He was awarded the 2015 ERC Starting Grant from the European Commission.
