Niamh is a postdoctoral researcher at King’s College London
She completed her PhD in the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI) in 2022, with Professors Mary Cannon, Mary Clarke & David Cotter. Her PhD explored the prenatal origins of mental health and wellbeing. She published 5 papers on this topic, which are all available online. After her PhD, she did a post-doc for 1 year with Professor Cannon & Dr Colm Healy on tracking mental health through childhood in the Growing Up in Ireland longitudinal cohort.
She now works as a statistician on clinical trials in the Centre for Rheumatic Diseases, in King’s College London. She continues to collaborate with colleagues from RCSI and the University of Cambridge on youth mental health research.
