Osane Uriarte is research advisor and international manager specialized in attracting and managing international research talent
Since joining the University of Deusto in 2008, she has coordinated and managed several European funded projects on enhancing international researchers’ career development.
Appointed to the International Research Project Office when it was created in 2011, her main area of activity is the support to DEUSTO research teams in attracting international talent through Horizon Europe Excellent Science Pillar, notably the Marie Skolodowska-Curie Actions and the European Research Council. In this regard, Osane participates in various international networks and working groups.
She also supports the internationalisation of research in the areas of Sustainable and Creative Cities and Communities. In this line, Osane coordinates the Interdisciplinary Research Platform B-Creative on creativity and co-creation towards Smart, Innovative, Wise and Sustainable Urban Development. She is also involved in process improvement procedures. Osane holds a Law Degree from the University of Deusto, a Master in Euroculture from Rijksuniversiteit Groningen and a Master in Legal Practice from the Institute of Law and Business IDEM.
