Prof Dr Felix K Maier is Chair for Ancient History at University of Zurich (Switzerland)
His published work encompasses a wide range of topics, including ancient Greek historiography, cross-cultural interactions in the Roman Empire and Digital Classics.
His first book focuses on the ancient Greek historian Polybius and his second book on the representations of the Roman emperors in the late 4th century. He is currently working on a major project which analyzes conflict escalations in Antiquity.
