Rui Prada is an associate professor at the Computer Science Department of Instituto Superior Técnico – University of Lisbon, where he teaches courses on Game Design and Development and Human-Robot Interaction
He is a senior researcher at INESC-ID in the Artificial Intelligence for People and Society Group, where he develops his research interests on the creation of artificial intelligence mechanisms to improve user interaction with intelligent machines and the development of playful interactions, such as games. Particularly, he pursues the development of computational models for social intelligence and social believability and the applications of games for serious purposes. He is co-author of the book “Design e Desenvolvimento de Jogos” and co-founder of the Sociedade Portuguesa de Ciências dos Videojogos (SPCV).
