PhD in Chemistry from the University of the Basque Country
She is currently a senior researcher in the Health Unit of TECNALIA. Her lines of specialization are focusing on obtaining active extracts from different biological matrices applying innovative technologies of extraction, in the development of technologies to improve the properties and nutritional value of food. Throughout her professional career, she has published 7 articles in scientific journals, and participated in more than 40 projects, both on national and European level.
