Stephen has over 20 years’ consulting experience across audit, risk, governance, process improvement and cyber. His work focuses on improving processes to support business plans, results and outcomes. This involves tailoring leading frameworks including Agile, OKRs, Scrum, NIST, NCSC CAF and others, enabling our clients and their teams to set and deliver targeted improvement on team performance through enhanced governance and alignment of objectives & key results, processes, controls and metrics.
Stephen has a track record of embedding successful change, team performance and outcomes with tremendous client feedback for enabling outstanding cross-functional results. Stephen has significant experience working across sectors and geographies bringing best in class practices and experience to our clients. Stephen’s sector experience includes Financial Services, Housing, Logistics, Pharma and Transportation (Rail & Aviation).
Prior to joining Marlborough in 2011, Stephen gained significant experience at EY (Ernst & Young), Arthur Andersen and Crowe. Stephen is chartered certified Accountant (ACCA), holds a number of Cyber relevant qualifications (SANS, CISA, CISM, CEGIT), is a certified scrum-master (scrum.org) and holds an MBA from Manchester Business School.
