Alliance building with health stakeholders
HPP brings all relevant stakeholders together to build a consensus around the key issues facing health systems and co-develop patient-centred solutions. It also runs several multi-year, multistakeholder alliances, including:
- The Heart Failure Policy Network (established in 2015), which has over 50 members and supporters from across Europe.
- The Lung Cancer Policy Network (established in 2021), which has over 50 members from around the world.
Engagement and change in the global health system
Across all of its work, HPP creates a variety of resources and communications materials to help engage and catalyse change from different audiences. These include engaging interactive maps and informative hubs of best practice. HPP also runs prominent summits, parliamentary events and webinars on various topics.
HPP ignites policy urgency and drives change to ultimately improve health outcomes, both directly and indirectly. HPP’s work in heart failure, for example, has led to tangible change in at least six countries.
